Semua pasti terkesan dengan wabak Covid-19. Nak pergi IABC2020 tak dapat. Simposium dan persidangan lain pun ditangguhkan. Bagi tidak mengecewakan semua, exco MSAB (2020-2022) yang baru terpilih pada AGM lepas bersetuju mengadakan Seminar Maya 2020 Persatuan Biologi Gunaan Malaysia (MSAB2020vs). Tema kali ini Biologi Gunaan dalam Norma Baharu. Marilah bersama kami pada 15 Disember 2020 melalui aplikasi Zoom.

Most of you must have been affected by the  Covid-19 pandemic. Unable to go to IABC2020. Most symposiums and conferences were postponed. We feel you. The newly appointed MSAB exco (2020-2022) have decided that The Malaysian Society of Applied Biology Virtual Seminar 2020 (MSAB2020vs) will be held. The theme is Applied Biology In the New Norm. Come and joint us on 15 December 2020 using Zoom application

 Pensyarah, penyelidik, pelajar pascasiswazah daripada semua IPTA/IPTS serta Institut Penyelidikan di Malaysia and luar Malaysia. Wakil syarikat juga akan dijemput menyertai seminar ini.

Lecturers, researchers, postgraduates from IPTA/IPTS, research Institutions in Malaysia and abroad. Company representatives are also invited to the seminar.

BAGAIMANA HENDAK MENDAFTAR?

Sila isikan maklumat anda menggunakan borang pendaftaran ini.  

Sebelum mendaftar sila siapkan perkara berikut: 

1) Tajuk dan abstrak (maksimum 150 perkataan). Sila ikuti format seperti contoh abstrak ini

2) Sediakan gambar anda (maksimum saiz 500kB)

3) Bukti pembayaran. Sila semak kategori yuran anda dibawah tajuk ADAKAH YURAN DIKENAKAN? BERAPAKAH YURANNYA

4) Jika anda adalah pelajar, sila sediakan bukti sah sebagai pelajar berdaftar. 

HOW DO I REGISTER?

Please fill in the information in the registration form  

Before registering, please prepare these items beforehand: 

1) Title and abstract (maximum 150 words). Please follow the format in this abstract example. 

2) Prepare a photograph of yourself (maximum size 50kB).

3) Proof of payment. Please check your fee category below under the topic WILL PARTICIPATION BE CHARGED/ HOW MUCH IS THE FEE

4) If you are a student, please prepare for valid proof as registered student. 

BAGAIMANA PEMBENTANGAN DILAKUKAN? 

  • Setiap peserta diberikan 5 minit untuk pembentangan lisan secara langsung dan 3 minit untuk menjawab pertanyaan. Dua minit diberikan untuk urusan berkongsi pembentangan melalui Zoom. 
  • Peserta boleh menghantar pembentangan  Powerpoint atau Youtube yang direkodkan lebih awal jika tidak mahu membentang secara langsung. Namun, masih terikat kepada tempoh pembentangan 5 minit. Sila muat naik pembentangan anda di pautan ini.
  • Semua peserta wajib hadir pada slot yang diperuntukkan untuk beliau bagi melancarkan urusan pembentangan dan sesi soal jawab.
HOW DO WE PRESENT?
  • Participants are given 5 minutes for oral presentation live streaming of their  research findings and 3 minutes to answer questions from the audience. Two minutes are given for content sharing to Zoom.
  • Participants can alternatively sent their pre-recorded presentation using Powerpoint or YouTube before the date of seminar (10 December 2020). Time limit for presentation is still 5 minutes. Please upload your presentation here.
  • Participants must be present during his/her allocated slot for smooth flow of presentation and question and answer session

APA YANG AKAN PESERTA DAPAT SELAIN MEMBENTANGKAN KAJIAN MEREKA?

 Selain bertemu peserta lain secara maya, setiap peserta akan menerima E-Buku abstrak, surat terima pendaftaran, resit pembayaran dan sijil pembentangan lisan (dihantar melalui Email). Kehadiran ke seminar mestilah sekurang-kurangnya 60% daripada pembentangan untuk melayakkan dapat sijil pembentang. Jika tidak, hanya sijil penyertaan diberikan.

WHAT WILL PARTICIPANT RECEIVE APART FROM A CHANCE TO PRESENT THEIR FINDINGS? 

Apart from meeting other participants virtually, each participants will receive abstrak e-book, registration confirmation letter, fee receipt and certificate of oral presentation (by email). Certificate of presentation will be issued to participation to 60% of the presentations. If not, only certificate of participation will be issued.

ADAKAH YURAN DIKENAKAN? BERAPAKAH YURANNYA

     Yuran pendaftaran dikenakan bagi menghadiri MSAB2020vs kerana ianya merupakan aktiviti persatuan. Aplikasi Zoom dan internet perlu dilanggan. Urusan pentadbiran dan teknikal juga memerlukan sedikit kewangan. Namun kami menawarkan yuran yang rendah dan berpatutan agar semua dapat membentangkan penyelidikan masing-masing.

WILL PARTICIPATION BE CHARGED/ HOW MUCH IS THE FEE

      Registration fee is imposed to participate in MSAB2020vs. This an event by the society thus we need to subscribe to Zoom and internet connection. There is also some administration dan technical allowances that needs to be covered. However, we still offer a very low fee and reasonable to allow everyone showcasing their research.
